Antique Rugs

All our antique rugs are either made for personal use or commissioned by someone who really wanted to have a very unique rug with special meaning.  They are all either wool on cotton foundation or wool on wool. Most of them only had minor fringe or edge issues which are taken care of by the best restoration artists in Turkey.  They were cared for with love.

All rugs have been hand selected from the regions that are classically famous for rug weaving. Unfortunately, the handwoven rug industry is seeing a decline with fewer and fewer hand weavers keeping up the profession as newer generations move into more advanced industries. As such, these one-of-a-kind rugs will become increasingly rare and are seen by many as collectibles.
