Over time, as these kilims naturally incurred wear and damage, reusable sections were carefully salvaged and repurposed into pillowcases or upholstery, as demonstrated in this stool. Made from 100% hand-spun mountain wool and handwoven in the early 20th century, it exemplifies masterful craftsmanship and authentic artistry.
