Experience the beauty and splendor of a rare piece of history with this Antique Collectable Ushak Fragment. Hand-knotted in the city of Usak, (Ushak), this masterpiece features luxurious wool and vibrant, shining colors thanks to its use of vegetable dyes. The thick and lush hand-spun wool makes this fragment ideal for framing or adding to your collection. And for your convenience, we offer the option to have it framed upon request. Don't miss the opportunity to own a piece of Ottoman Empire history.
All our carpets and kilims are one-of-a-kind, hand-knotted or hand-woven with 100% hand spun wool pile. Color variation is called "Abrash" which is due to none-bleached wool's absorption of the dyes used or the carpet or kilim maybe woven with 2 different batches of dyed wool, which was available at the time.
If you like uniformity-a soulless item-these are not for you. These are the reminiscent of a disappearing art.
