#35431. Gendje. This is a beautiful rug with a beautiful deep blue field and many different borders surrounding it. Gendje, (A traditional rug weaving town in the mountains of Caucasus Mountains on the Western shore of the Caspian Sea and), rugs are famous for their diagonal motives and small borders representing essence of life, which is the flow as in experiences as in meaningful enjoyment, focus, and so on.
All rugs have been hand selected from the regions that are classically famous for rug weaving. Unfortunately, the hand woven rug industry is seeing a decline with fewer and fewer hand weavers keeping up the profession as newer generations move into more advanced industries. As such, these one-of-a-kind rugs will become increasingly rare and are seen by many as collectibles.
