#39316. Kirman. One of a kind Kirman woven in the mid-20th c. with all hand spun wool. The weaver was incredibly talented at giving the runner a 3-dimensional look by using very light color in the background of the motives. Very hard to find one like it.
All rugs have been hand selected from the regions that are classically famous for rug weaving. Unfortunately, the hand woven rug industry is seeing a decline with fewer and fewer hand weavers keeping up the profession as newer generations move into more advanced industries. As such, these one-of-a-kind rugs will become increasingly rare and are seen by many as collectibles.
