This antique Zehur was woven in the late 19th c with pure hand-spool wool, which was dipped into dyes of vegetables or insects. It has mountain wool thickness for these rugs. Rug itself is so calming and peaceful.
All our carpets and kilims are one-of-a-kind, hand-knotted or hand-woven with 100% hand spun wool pile. Color variation is called "Abrash" which is due to none-bleached wool's absorption of the dyes used or the carpet or kilim maybe woven with 2 different batches of dyed wool, which was available at the time.
If you like uniformity-a soulless item-these are not for you. These are the reminiscent of a disappearing art.
