Shirvan originally comes from Western Central Asia. Turkic nomads would weave them as their family rugs. They are always decorated with many different symbols from love to protection to good news and so on. They are one of a kind and each one is woven int the best Turkish double knotting style with 100% mountain wool.
This particular one was woven in the 21st c.
