Yagcibedir. These unique rugs were traditionally hand-woven in the mountainous area of Pergamum, featuring ram horn symbols that symbolize the bond between couples. Made from pure wool, these one-of-a-kind rugs showcase intricate stair patterns surrounding a central medallion, showcasing their resilience against malicious forces fueled by love. Available in three distinct colors - red, blue, and white - these rugs are a truly exquisite addition to any home.
All our carpets and kilims are one-of-a-kind, hand-knotted or hand-woven with 100% hand spun wool pile. Color variation is called "Abrash" which is due to none-bleached wool's absorption of the dyes used or the carpet or kilim maybe woven with 2 different batches of dyed wool, which was available at the time.
If you like uniformity-a soulless item-these are not for you. These are the reminiscent of a disappearing art.
