#4253.  Yagcibedir. These nomadic rugs were originally woven in the mountainous region of Pergamum to symbolize the union of couples (ram horn symbols).  They are one of a kind and wool on wool. The stairs around the central medallion represent their resistance to malice because of the love that they have for one another.  They would also be woven in 3 different colors of background-red, blue, or white.
