This armchair is upholstered with fragments of a hand-woven tribal Eshme kilim. One of a kind armchair. Most Eshme kilim motives represent Earth, all come from Earth and go back to Earth. That is the Shamanistic saying. The seat of the chair has the Earth Mother symbol with the holly oil lamp in the middle of it and the back has the dragons for protection.
The kilim must have been woven in the early 20th c.
