This armchair has been upholstered with a hand-woven kilim fragment from Konya. It has a very unusual Tree-of-Life design with fruits and/or flowers blossoming, which all suggest that it was a special piece woven for a special occasion, such as for a birth or a wedding. It is One-of-a-Kind. It also has protective symbols like ram’s horns and dragons.
My furniture has very vivid colors and the kilims were woven with Anatolian hand spun soft but durable sheep wool.
