#9288. Kayseri_Shirvan. It is a one of a kind rug, which was woven in a village in Kayseri in the 2nd half of 20th c. with all handspun wool pile. The design goes back to about 15th c of Kuba district in Cent. Asia. It is all about unity, prosperity (as a family) and overcoming the obstacles of life. As blessings, one can see the use of wolf’s jaw, ram horn, dowry chest and so on. Beautifully done.
