Furniture

This armchair is upholstered with Balikkesir antique kilim with Jijim weaving ram horn, (symbol of power), on top of the woven kilim, in Turkey. It is a very unique one-of-a-kind furniture. All these kilims & carpets were originally woven to cover floors or divan (sleeping/sitting raised bench). Overtime, parts of them get damaged and the parts usable recycled by using them as pillow cases or for upholstering furniture as it is done here. 
It is all 100% hand spun mountain wool and hand woven in the early 20th c.
